Marcie Bronkar’s Designs
A renowned textile and product designer, Marcie Bronkar is passionate about color and historical period artwork and objects. She adds modern twists to period design to produce patterns that blend with the contemporary world. Marcie has designed seven textiles exclusively for Hunter Douglas. All of them are available as drapery, side panels, roller and Roman shades, accessories, and Fabric by the Yard. These fabrics are available to order now, so be sure to speak with a representative to see them in person and to determine how best to add them to your home’s design.
Textiles to Choose From
Marcie’s seven fabrics include:
- August—a simple yet elegant lightweight silk embroidered to add a finishing touch.
- Laurel—inspired by a piece of Mexican pottery, it offers an organic feel and a sense of movement.
- Oleander—paisley-inspired fabric that complements both formal and playful design.
- Menagerie—named for a Jacobean period design, but morphed to a modern aesthetic.
- Lily—a soft, free-flowing pattern that dances across the fabric.
